

This is held during the Spring term over a week-end and includes the heats and finals. Classes start from Grade III up to Advance II. There is a free class followed by a pre-set dance. Competitors are judged on their technique, performance skills and musicality. The standard is extremely high and pupils must have gained previous exams with an A grade and their performance award.

This is held during the Summer term. There are 3 sets of heats held in London, Swindon and Manchester. Those chosen go through to the finals in London where they take part in a free 45 minute class followed by their own solo.

The Star Tap awards are held in London over one day usually in Oct / Nov. Students take part in a class and perform a solo and from this the winners are chosen.
